vCardr displays a contact you choose as a QR code on your device's screen.

What is collected

Nothing. vCardr has no account, no analytics, and no servers.

How your contacts are used

When you select a contact, vCardr reads that contact's fields (such as name, phone, email, and address) solely to render a QR code on your screen. This happens entirely on your device.

• Your contact data is never transmitted off your device.
• It is never uploaded, shared, or sold.
• vCardr keeps no copy of other people's cards. Only the card you set as your own is kept on the device — see below.

Stored on your device

vCardr saves a small amount of information locally, in the system's standard preferences storage:

• which contact you chose as your own card — the system's reference to it, not a copy of its details
• the details of the card you set as your own — kept so the home-screen widget can show its code without opening the app
• your light or dark theme choice
• whether the intro animation has already played

None of this leaves your device, and all of it is removed when you delete the app.

Permissions

vCardr requests access to your Contacts only so you can pick a card to display. You can revoke this at any time in the iOS Settings app.
